Stanford Staffers and Black Staff Alliance Partner to Present Black, Unarmed and Killed by the Police: A Conversation with Robert Weisberg

In response to the unjustified killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, Stanford Staffers and the Black Staff Alliance of Stanford University partnered to present "Black, Unarmed and Killed by the Police: A Conversation with Professor Robert Weisberg" on Friday, June 5, 2020.   

More than 450 members of the Stanford University employee and retiree community attended this vitual event during which Professor Weisburg, Co-director Stanford Criminal Justice Center, addressed legal issues related to unjustified killings of members of the black community.  Dr. Jennifer R. Cohen, Associate Director for Biosciences Diversity Programs moderated the question and answer session. 

We, as a community, continue to be enraged by these events and to grieve the unjustified killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, and all those who have been torn apart by state-sanctioned violence and anti-Black racism.
